We are a research lab in the University of Colorado Division of Rheumatology dedicated to understanding what causes rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and autoimmune interstitial lung disease (ILD). 

  • ​​​​August 2025 Our work that found elevated lung levels of NETs are associated with worse outcomes in patients with IPF is now in press at the iScience. Congrats to lead author, Dr. Scott Matson!​​

 

  • July 2025 – Dr. Daniele Marcy's work entitled "Calprotectin and Anti-CCP Antibodies Predict Development of Preeclampsia" was accepted for an oral abstract presentation at the upcoming 2025 ACR Convergence Meeting.​​

  • ​​July 2025 – Dr. Tim Wilson's work that found sputum anti-CCP and NETs can predict timing of RA was accepted for an oral presentation at the upcoming 2025 ACR Convergence Meeting.​​

​​

  • ​​July 2025 – Dr. Caroline Maretz's work on "Effectiveness of Reproductive Health Counseling for Rheumatology Patients" was accepted for a poster presentation at the 2025 ACR Meeting.

 

  • July 2025 – Dr. Daniele Marcy received the NIH's Loan Repayment Program award - Congrats Daniele! â€‹â€‹â€‹
